Imagination Crafts - April Challenge Mid Month Inspiration - Anything Goes

Morning lovelies I hope you are all well and having a nice weekend. So far the half term has gone well (touch wood) and  I have been doing well although it has been quite busy. I am hoping to actually get a chance to come and visit your blogs in the next few days.

Today  is the mid month inspiration for Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's April challenge, Our theme this time is Anything Goes it is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

Before I go on to my make I would like to point out that only entries using Imagination Crafts products will go in to the prize draw (although non IC makes can get top 3 spots).

For this challenge I have used the Dragonflies stamp set image and a sentiment from the Snowdrops stamp set coloured with Flexmarkers and decoupaged and I have then used the sparkle gel medium from Imagination Crafts to add some sparkle on the wings. I then layered the image on to white card, two types of lace  and some purple paper and decorated with a few flowers.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope you will all come and join in with the April challenge at Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog.

Imagination Crafts - April Challenge - Anything Goes

Morning lovelies I hope you are all well, I am getting ready for a presentation at college at the moment. It's half term next week and as I seem to have been ill every time we have half term I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will break the trend this time lol.

Today  is the start of Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's April challenge, Our theme this time is Anything Goes. The challenge is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

For this challenge I have made a little trinket box, I used part of the elemental stencil from Imagination Crafts with acrylic paint to decorate the background and then used the butterfly from the same stencil first with copper paint and then with a black liner pen for the main image. I then just decorated with some ribbon and heart shaped gems.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and  I hope you will all come and join in with the challenge at Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog.

Imagination Crafts - March Challenge Mid Month Inspiration - Imagination In Bloom

Morning lovelies I hope you are all well and having a nice weekend. Thank you all for your well wishes, I am starting to get back to my version of normal now lol.

Today  is the mid month inspiration for Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's March challenge, Our theme this time is Imagination In Bloom it is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

Before I go on to my make I would like to point out that only entries using Imagination Crafts products will go in to the prize draw (although non IC makes can get top 3 spots).

For this challenge I have used the Iris stamp set again but I wanted to do something different to the last project to show how different the stamp can look. So I stamped out the image and just used a black fine liner to emphasize parts of the image. I have then layered the image on to two different types of lace and placed it on to a die cut tent fold card. I then just trimmed the card with some more of the same lace, this was a really quick and easy make but I think it looks quite striking.

Imagination Crafts - March Challenge - Imagination In Bloom

Morning lovelies I hope you are all well, I am still trying to take it easy at the moment the doctors think the pneumonia is clearing now but all of the coughing has pushed one of the discs in my spine in to a nerve cluster which is quite painful. Thankfully the painkillers are helping but I am still having to pace myself and my mind is off with the fairies half the time lol.

Today  is the start of Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's March challenge, Our theme this time is Imagination In Bloom (so we would like to see floral projects). The challenge is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

For this challenge I have made a canvas using the Iris stamp set from Imagination Crafts. First I stuck lace in to place on the canvas then I painted the whole thing with acrylic paint. When it was dry I rubbed  liquid metal over the lace and around the edges of the canvas. Whilst that was drying I stamped out the Iris image 7 times and coloured them in with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, I used 3 of them to decoupage the center image and cut out the flowers from the other 4 to add to the corners. Finally I added some gems to the center image to finish it off.

Diva's By Design - Rubber Stamps Only

Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good week, I am not well again lol I ended up in A & E last weekend and it turns out I have pneumonia, so definitely taking it easy at the moment.

This is a sad post as it will be my last for  Diva's By Design I really didn't want to have to step down as the team are all so lovely and and I have really enjoyed working with them all but I just feel like freeing up more time for college work and rest is something I have to prioritise. Thanks so much for having me on the team ladies, it's been a pleasure.  Our theme this week is Rubber Stamps Only and this week we are sponsored by Sir Stampalot.

My card for this week is quite simple, I used an 8"x8" shaped card blank, kraft card, a magnolia stamp and faber castle polychromos pencils to colour then just decorated with some lace and paper flowers.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope you will hop over to  Diva's By Design to join in with the challenge.

Imagination Crafts - February Challenge Mid Month Inspiration - Love Is In the air

Morning lovelies I hope you are all well and having a good week. Thank you all for your good wishes for the uni interviews, I got offered places on all three courses that I applied for so that was a really nice confidence boost. I am quite glad the interviews are over with now as I have found it so draining so now I am going to take a little time to recover.

Anyway today  is the mid month inspiration for Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's February challenge, Our theme this time is Love Is In The Air it is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

Before I go on to my make I would like to point out that only entries using Imagination Crafts products will go in to the prize draw (although non IC makes can get top 3 spots).

For this challenge I have revamped a little wooden box, first I painted it with cream acrylic paint then I used gold acrylic paint through the Flourish Stencil from  Imagination Crafts. Next I stamped the tail flourish from the Bird of Paradise in the stamp set from Imagination Crafts and one of the little corner flourishes from the same set, then I used the Elemental stencil and red Sparkle Medium from Imagination Crafts to decorate the top and to finish I trimmed with seam binding and ribbon.

Diva's By Design - Use Die Cuts

Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good week, I am not well again lol I don't think this busy college life agrees with me but it's worth it.   It's time for another challenge over at  Diva's By Design our theme this week is Anything Goes and this week we are sponsored by Dies To Die For.

To make my card, I have used a Spellbinders grand die to make the easel card base, the die cut frame and the Baby die cut are from Marianne Design and the star flourish is from Joanna Sheen. I have used a Magnolia stamp and Promarkers to colour, the papers were all from my scraps pile so I can't tell you who made them sorry and I then just decorated with some blue ribbon.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope you will hop over to  Diva's By Design to join in with the challenge.

Today  is the start of Imagination Crafts Challenge Blog's February challenge, Our theme this time is Love Is In The Air it is sponsored by Imagination Crafts and we have all used their fabulous products to make our projects.

For this challenge I have made a card using the gorgeous Window stencil and Sparkle Medium from Imagination Crafts I wanted to keep this one quite simple as the stencil is so pretty, so I just applied the medium to white card and then layered it on to red and black card and a shaped card blank from Every crafts a pound. I then decorated with some ribbon and a sentiment.
