To make this card, I began with a sheet of white A3 card, With the card in a landscape position I measured half way up the card (my card is 298mm tall so i measured 149mm up) I then scored my line horizontally and folded it leaving me with a very long thin base card. Next I measured along the folded edge of the card (on both sides, front and back) and marked the folded edge at 22cm and 27cm. Then I measured along the open edge (both sides front and back) and marked the open edges at 16cm and 27cm. When this was done I scored from the points at 22cm on the folded edge to the point at 16cm on the open edge, do this for both the front and the back of the card. Next I scored from the point 27cm on the folded edge to the point at 27cm on the open edge, once again do this for the front and the back of the card. I then folded along the score lines, bending both ways back and forth to loosen the folds below is a picture of an old card that I have marked and decorated I am using this picture because its far easier to see like this, I did take a picture of the plain white card but you couldn't really see much so I have used this one instead. Click on the picture to see a larger image.
Ok so once you have your lines scored, you need to fold the card, (it feels really wrong when folding this for some reason, like it won't go but it will), to fold this card in to shape first open it out so you have the full A3 sheet laid flat. Then with one hand on one side of the card just beneath the scorelines at 27cm so that you have your thumb under the line on one side and your fingers under the line on the other side and the other hand holding the end furthest away from the scorelines with fingers on either side of the card across the central scoreline. You then need to push the area between the scorelines back on to itself with the first hand (this will feel much like holding one of those pick a number thingy's everyone used to make at school) whilst folding the center crease with the other hand, I have attempted to show this in the pictures below.
I borrowed my other half's hands for some of these photo's as I tried getting him to take the photo's and he got one good one but he didn't really know what he was taking pictures of so we switched (sometime's I think it would be very nice to be like Vishnu and have several arms lol).
Then I cut out loads of scalloped squares in my coloured card using my Grand Calibur and stuck them in to place. I used a Lili Of The Valley die cut for the top part of the card, then stamped out my sentiment with the hands, feet, bottle and pin and then stamped out the bottle six more times and coloured these in with my Promarkers using dusky pink, ivory, blush and putty, I then cut out the bottles with scissors and the greeting and images with the same dies I used earlier.
I stuck my greeting and images in to place and then arranged some foam roses and paper leaves and stuck them in to place and finally stuck my individual bottles in to place.
Thank you for reading this post, I hope it all makes sense ( I found this one difficult to explain) if you have any questions I would be more than happy to try and answer them and always I love to hear your comments.

Hi Lindsay, a lovely shaped card & I agree, I could often do with having several pairs of hands - but I could also do with being in several places at the same time too! LOL. Thanks for joining us at I ♥ Promarkers.
