A Get Well Soon Card & Some Stick Pins

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and had a fab weekend. I would like to say a massive thanks to Lee who has now officially got me completely hooked on making stick pins, I had my first ever go at it over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it, I found it to be really relaxing and whilst I do feel like I need to practise on my glue gun finesse I was really quite chuffed with the results and Luke (the other half) even had a go too (bet you can't guess which ones are his lol).

Please excuse the paint and ink covered box lol, I would love to know what you think and I would expect that you will see a lot more stick pins on my cards now lol.

Here is one of the unexpected get well soon cards that I had to make to for a family friend who went in to hospital.

To make this card I have used a 6"x6" card base,  3 different patterned papers from Papermania, some yellow lace and some of  my stickpins and the image is from Lili Of The Valley and coloured in with Promarkers.

I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,
Simon Say Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says Use 3 Patterned Papers
Crafts & Me Challenge Blog - Challenge 72 - Shades Of Spring
That Craft Place Challenge Blog - Anything Goes

Just before I go I would like say another massive thank you to Linda  for awarding me The Versatile Blogger Award I was so thrilled to see that Linda had thought of me for this. Linda's blog is http://lindasimpsoncraftypieceofheaven.blogspot.com/ and definitely worth popping over.

So I would like to pass this award on to a few people that have inspired me,

Lee  - http://craftyloops.blogspot.com/
Coops - http://coopsclutteredcorner.blogspot.com/
Kate  - http://downrightcrafty.blogspot.com/
Teresa - http://craftingalldayscards.blogspot.com/

All of these ladies have fantastic blogs that are a constant source of inspiration so please do pop over for a look.

Thanks for reading this post and as always I love to read your comments.

Lindsay xx
