Peter Rabbit Card

Morning all, I hope you are all well and having better weather than we are here, it's drizzley and grey and horrible, my mum's probably going to blame it on the fact that she has the weekend off work as she really does have the worst luck with the weather when she has time off.

Today I have a card that I have made for my new baby nephew who was supposed to be here a couple of days ago, but it seems he takes after my brother and won't be rushed lol. His poor mum has had enough now and she is feeling pretty rough and just wants it over with so hopefully he will join us soon. I do think  it would be funny if he  turns  up on mothers day.

To make this card I have used two papers from Websters Pages and then distressed the edges with a craft knife. My image is from the Crafters Companion Peter Rabbit stamp set (which I won from Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine) and I have coloured him  in using my new Derwent pencils (I think I still need more practise with them). I have then decorated my card using lacey embroidered ribbon, two different types of gems and a vintage button.

I would like to enter this in to the  following challenges,
