With Sympathy

Morning all  I hope you are all well and having better weather than we are here, it's miserable and wet and windy here. I am not feeling great after the weekend and am starting to dread tomorrow's hospital appointment now, I actually want to go and find out whats going on (I really hope they can figure it out) but I hate that hospital. I don't think it helps that it is the same hospital where my dad was when  he was battling cancer and where he died and the six year anniversary of that is coming up soon.

The card I have  to show you this morning is a sympathy card, my MIL has just lost her mother to a very long and drawn out battle with cancer. I find sympathy cards very difficult as I feel they should be clean and simple and elegant and I find clean and simple difficult at the best of times. I would really like to know what you think of this one as it's a bit out of my comfort zone.

I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,
Cards Galore - March Challenge - Clean & Simple
Simons Says Stamp Challenge Blog - Simon Says Anything Goes

Thanks for reading this post, I would really like to know what your thoughts are on this one and as always I love to read your comments.

Hi Linsday, your card is just lovely. Perfect for such a sad occasion and I'm sure your MiL will appreciate it.

Hospitals don't really do it for me either! Thankfully I've had very little to do with them (apart from working in one). I appreciate your apprehension tho, when I had my daughter my friend came to visit me in the mat. ward in the hospital where her father was mis-diagnosed and unfortunately died. I think it was very brave of her to even step foot in the place.

Hope it all goes well for you and will be watching out for your update.
