Some of you may remember me saying that I had won a new magnolia stamp from Jacque's Joie de Vivre's blog giveaway Sunday Sensations with Magnolia-licious, through a slight twist of fate I ended up chatting to Diana at Magnolia-licious more than expect and she is a very lovely lady, I also had a bit of a look through the online store and they have a fabulous range too. Anyway enough rambling, my stamp arrived a few days back and here is a card that I made with it today.
To make my card I have used an 8"x8" shaped card base, two papers from My Minds Eye, some silk scraps and some organza (I have frayed the edges of the materials to add extra interest). The image is the stamp that I won from Magnolia-licious and I have coloured her in using Promarkers. The butterflies are from a Magnolia die which I bought recently and I have to say I now understand why people will pay so much for Magnolia dies, they are so intricate but they cut so easily and with no hastle to remove the little fiddly bits and the flourishes are cut out using Marianne's Design Dies. I have then used some organza ribbon to make one little bow and one larger one with the ends curled with scissors.
I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,
