Evening everyone, I hope that you are all well and looking forward to the weekend, just thought I would pop back on to share a card that I made today with my new favorite Tilda stamp (lol I know it changes quite often).
To make this card I have used an 8"x8" card blank, a Martha Stewart corner punch, one paper from the DCWV Old World paper stack and one paper from a Graphics 45 paper pack, two stamps from Magnolia and Promarkers to colour. I have used embroidery thread to stitch one of the papers and decorated with beaded ribbon, some little bows pearls and an old watch face decorated with pearls. I wrote out the sentiment on a banner die cut with a Tim Holtz die.
I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,
The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge - Challenge #56 - At The Beach Theme & Inspiration

Simply Magnolia Challenge Blog - Colour Combo Challenge - Pink, White, Green And Blue

Thank you & A Little Colouring Tutorial
Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well, firstly I would like to say a big thank you for all of your lovely get well wishes and for sticking with me whilst I have been unable to keep up with my commenting. I am still quite zombie like and I am sure if I could just get a few good nights sleep I would be back to normal but I go through phases like this where I just cannot sleep so it's just a case of waiting it out. The only trouble is I do get frustrated by not being able to do very much, one thing I have been able to do though is colour so I thought I would do a little colouring tutorial for you using a House Mouse Stamp and my Faber-Castell polychromos pencils.
To begin with I outlined the detailed area's of the flower in the darkest shade of yellow - Dark Chrome Yellow
Next added the next darkest shade around the darker area's - Cadmium Yellow
I then added the lightest shade of yellow around the edges of the darker shades - Light Yellow Glaze and added white to the center area's that needed to be lightest.
Next I began shading the stems around the outside edges using Dark Phthalo Green.
And then added Earth Green Yellowish to the center of the stems
I then began adding colour to the mouse using Walnut Brown with very firm pressure (remembering that with pencils the amount of pressure you use makes a difference to the effect you get) I have just outlined the fir and added a few individual strokes to the body of the mouse.
Next I have added colour to the rest of the body (using soft pressure) in Raw Umber leaving the most center point of the body very pale and then began adding colour to the body and head of the bird using Helioblue - Reddish and Ultramarine very softly.
I have then added Dark Phthalo Green to the wings and around the eye.
Finally I blended the colours together using a paper stump and sansador (remembering to blend the lightest colours first to ensure that there is no unwanted colour transfer)
To make the card itself I used a 6"x6" card blank, two papers that were free with a magazine, yellow lace to edge them and some flourishes cut out with a Memory Box die which I bought from The Stamp Basket and then used a lace applique butterfly and gems from my stash to decorate.
I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,

Forever Friends Challenge Blog - Fortnightly Challenge - Anything Goes
Emerald Faeires Challenge Blog - EFG Challenge #30 - Punches/ Dies
Crafty Mess Challenge Blog - 16th Challenge - Animals With A Blue Theme ( I hope this is enough blue the second paper also has very pale blue in it but you can't see it very well on the photo's if it's not enough please feel free to delete it and I will make something else)
Totally Papercrafts Friday Challenges - Challenge #131 - Zesty Summer Colours
Fashionable Stamping Challenges - Challenge #29 - Anything Floral
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Challenge : Inspired By Summer Distress (I hope the blue and green in the image are ok for this)

Christine's Digi Adventure Showcase - Lighthouse
Morning everyone, I hope you are all well, it's time for another digi showcase over at Christine's blog and this week she has asked us to showcase her lighthouse digi. I must say I am a little disappointed as I love this image and had been really looking forward to using it but since I have been unwell I have been struggling to get anything done and found it really difficult to make this card so I am not as happy with it as I could have been but as they say the show must go on and I didn't want to let Christine down so I have just done the best I could.
I have used a paper from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Lost & Found paper pack, some cream cotton, Christine's lovely digi and promarkers to colour and then added some seaweed, shells and netting to decorate.
I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,

PanPastel Challenge Blog - Challenge 33 - Earth, Wind & Fire
Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a nice weekend, it's time for a new challenge to begin over at the PanPastel challenge blog and this week the theme is Earth, Wind & Fire but don't panic we are happy to accept projects with interpretations of these elements i.e colours and representations etc. This week the prize will be a fabby PanPastel starter kit provided by our regular sponsor Your Creativity Store. I would also just like to remind everyone that you can use any media on your entries and it doesn't have to be a card, we also accept tags, scrapbook layouts etc etc so long as it follows the theme.
So here is what I have come up with,
I was a little bit panicked when I first saw this theme thinking omg what am I going to do, but I am actually quite pleased with how it turned out, I decided to draw out the symbols for earth wind and fire and then added colour to them and done matching background for them using PanPastels which was so easy because of the fact that you have complete control over how much the PanPastels blend (or don't blend as the case may be). There isn't really much else to this card, I just mounted with some black card and added a few gems to finish.
I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges,
Oldie But A Goodie - Paper Piecing (I have had the gems in my stash since last year when I got a job lot of them on ebay)
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Make Your Own Background
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Challenge : No Rules
Sparkles Forum Challenge - Challenge #35 - Nature
Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope that you will hop over to the PanPastel challenge blog and join in with us as we love to see your gorgeous creations.

So here is a nice simple card that I have made using Graphics 45 papers that I bought from the lovely Michelle at Mishelflo Creative Crafting, sadly Michelle is having to close her online store which means she is now offering some brilliant deals on the stock she has left and the opportunity to buy at trade price (provided that you pay full postage) so why not pop over and grab yourself some bargains before they are all gone.

My Mum's Birthday Card
Hi everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good week, this will be just a quick post as I am absolutely shattered today, I haven't been sleeping well of late and today was my mum's birthday so it's been a busy day.
Firstly I would like to show you a collage that I made for my mum (the big piccie in the middle is me and my mum about 29 years ago lol and you can see from the picture in the bottom left which is a very recent one of my mum and my brother that she is still just as beautiful)
Next up I have the card that I made for her
To make this card I have used an 8"x8" card blank, Kraft Core Coredinations embossed with polka dots and sanded, happy birthday paper from Papermania, cream embroidered fabric and an image from A &T Digital Designs coloured in with Promarkers. To decorate I have used some of my own handmade stickpins and a bow from left over material, elegant scroll die cuts cut out using a memory box die, paper flowers and trailing flowers from my stash, a papermania felt butterfly and some blue gems along with a little bit of blue glitter glue on the fairies wings.
I would like to enter my card in to the following challenges,

Wishes
Evening everyone (or at least it still is when I started writing this lol) I hope you are all well and have enjoyed you weekend and enjoyed some of the lovely weather. It's been a bit too hot for my liking here which isn't helping me to get things done very quick.
To make this card I have used an 8"x8" scalloped card blank, papers from Papermania, and some cream cotton to stamp this Tim Holtz sentiment on to. I have made all of the rolled flowers from fabric scraps and then used ribbon and a few sprays from my stash to decorate. If you would like to have a go at making these flowers you can find my tutorial Here (the tutorial shows them being made in paper but the process is exactly the same for fabric).

Late again
Hiya everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good weekend, as you may have guessed from how late I am posting this, I am still a bit slow going it's taking me a long time to do anything at the moment, but I wanted to get this post up today as Totally Tilda is running a DT call which closes tomorrow and since I do love using my Magnolia stamps I really wanted to try for it.
They have asked everyone to make a card from an inspirational picture, so here is what I have come up with
And this was the photo inspiration they gave us to work with (I have also made my card with a few other challenges in mind too, I hope that's ok)
To make my card I have used an 8"x8" scalloped card blank, a paper from the Crafters Companion Fairyopolis paper pack, some aqua coloured lace, some white embroidered cotton and some lace and ribbon trim. The image is a stamp from Magnolia coloured in with Promarkers, I have then used die cuts cut out using Magnola Doohickey dies and Memory box dies, some pearl string and flowers from my stash to decorate. The turquoise coloured flowers are two flat paper flowers put together with the one in the center glued together to give it a bit more shape.
I have made this card for:
Totally Tilda DT Call
Going Buggy Challenge - August Challenge - Girlie
Whoopsie Daisy Challenge - Anything Goes
Magnolia - licious Challenge Blog - Colour Challenge
A & T Digital Designs Challenge Blog - A&T Challenge #11 - Anything Goes

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge GDT spot - Challenge 168 - Box
Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good start to the day, today I have a GDT spot over at the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge and this week their theme is boxes.
So here is what I have done
I have taken a plain wooden box (that was cheap from QD) used milled lavender distress ink to colour it and give it character, I have then added some pink organza, a piece of cream card with distress ink around the edges ( just roughly, I can't be doing with being too fancy or neat lol) added some buttons and tied a knot with a piece of the left over fabric scraps and the image is one of my own digi's from LEJ Designs coloured in with promarkers, that's it, a very simple project really.
Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments

Butterfly Bliss
Evening everyone, or maybe I should be saying morning lol, I meant to be posting this much earlier but it's just been one of those days today, things kept going wrong, I had a fall (am fine just a little bit bruised), I broke one of my rock a blocks (whilst trying to make this), this didn't go right at all and took me much longer than anticipated to be happy with it and a few other things to boot. Plus I was really determined to catch up on at least some of my commenting today and that didn't happen at all, sorry I will get there.
Anyway so this is the project that killed my poor rock a block it's a technique that my friend uses all the time and she makes it look so easy (LOL it's not, or at least I didn't think so) and I have used it to make a little plaque from mount board.
To make my plaque I used a small piece of mount board, some clear ultra thick embossing powder (several layers) I then stamped in to the embossing whilst still warm with a stampin up sentiment stamp (the word Bliss) and a woodware butterfly stamp and once it had cooled added alcohol inks. I then simply added some martha stewart butterflies and some flowers from my stash to decorate.
I would like to enter my plaque in to the following challenges,
Stampalot Challenge - August Challenge - Take Flight (this is my second entry, the first was a card and this one is a plaque hope that's ok)
Penny Black @ Allsorts - August Challenge - Whiskers And/Or Wings (I have gone with wings)
Sweet Stampin - Things With Wings
Simon Says Stamp And Show - Challenge : Favorite Techniques (using Alcohol Inks is one of my favorite techniques although I don't use them nearly often enough)
Whoopsie Daisy Challenge - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoes Crafts Monthly Challenge - Challenge 27 - Summer
Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments, and I will get around to all of your blogs as soon as possible

Christine's Digi Adventure Showcase - Ellie
Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and having a good day it's time for another showcase over at Christine's Digi Adventure and this week Christine has asked us to showcase her lovely Ellie digi stamp.
To be honest I am not sure what I think about this card, I was trying to give it a circus type feel but I don't know if it really worked or not lol. I have used papers from the g.c.d eye candy pack that I won in the lovely Lisa's candy a while back, a selection of flowers from my stash, some fabric stars from my stash and the fly brad I believe was from Papermania but I couldn't say for sure as I have had it a long time and course Christine's digi which I have coloured in with fleximarkers.
Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments (I have gotten a little behind with my commenting again since my few sleepless nights, sorry, but will be doing my best to catch up, it seems like at the moment as soon as I catch up something else happens and I end up behind again lol)
